Note Cards and a Box & Stampin' Up! Promotions

This is a project that many demonstrators got to make and learn from this past summer's convention. Now's your chance to partake in a fun paper crafting event and make your own set of four notes and a box. You'll be given enough supplies to make two sets of the project--one for you and one to give away.

When: Thursday, September 6, 2012 at 6:30 p.m.
Where: Stamp Ink Diva Studio in Corona, CA (address will be given when you RSVP)
Why: we all need a break from our daily routine and have time to be creative and have fun!
Cost: $10 per person or $25 product order on day of event.
RSVP so I may have enough kits for everyone. Thanks everyone!

This week's downloads can be found here.
August 21st downloads can be found here.

Googly Spiders

This is a sample of my Halloween card swap for this month. I tried to make it look like the spider was going up and down then BOOOO! I loved that my son actually commented on that so I knew I accomplished my goal in his eyes!

I love clean and simple and this week's sketch challenge from Fresh Made Sketches was just the perfect place to start.

After seeing this card, Ian thought it would be even better to make a sound card (#121009). I wish I knew how to put the sound on here to share but I must say, it was quite funny! He even asked me when he could join! (Too bad he's not old enough.) But the rest of you can! Only a week left for the Howl-o-ween Tray special, don't miss out!

Herringbone Technique Share

Today's share comes from Judy Morton.

When I first saw this card, it reminded me of a quilt. It shows that a lot of tender loving care went into making this card. Such a wonderful gift. Thank you Judy!

To recreate this background, you'll need to cut various pieces of designer paper and place in this herringbone pattern.
